• What is this Government Employees Plan?

  1. It’s an EXCLUSIVE offer where government servants/employees and retirees/pensioners registering for a Hotlink Postpaid or Maxis Postpaid plan during the offer period will get to enjoy monthly plan rebates (SIM only & Devices Bundle).

• What are the benefits of this government servants/employees Mobile Offer?

  • Standard consumer business rules & device contract applies
  • Not valid with Port In offer

• When is the offer period?

  1. The offer period is from 15 Aug 2023 until 31 Dec 2024.
     

• Who can sign up for this offer?

  1. This offer is only open to government servants/employees and retirees/pensioners.

• Where will the plan be available for registration?

  1. Customers can register via multiple channels; Maxis Centre/MEPs, mobile roadshows, online store (website)

• What are the required identifications for registration?

  1. MyKad
  2. Staff ID or
  3. Payslip or 
  4. Letter from HR or 
  5. HRMIS portal access
  6. Retirees Card (kad pesara)

• Which devices can I take under government servants/employees mobile offer?

  1. We have a wide selection of devices according to the rate plans. Only Hotlink Postpaid 45 does not come with a phone selection.

• Am I tied to a contract if I register for this offer?

  1. Only plans with device bundle are subjected to contract. SIM only plan is NOT contracted.

• I am still on contract with my existing mobile operator. How can I accept this offer without having to take a new number?

  1. The Maxis Postpaid offer is open for NEW, Port-In, and existing Maxis customers
  2. However, the Hotlink Postpaid 45 is only for NEW & Port-In (MNP) customers

• What happens if I terminate within the Device Contract period?

  1. Early Termination Fees will be charged. Calculation of the termination fees as follow:
     1. (Recommended Retail Price - Upfront Price) x (Remaining month / 24 months) + RM100 admin fee

• What happens if I transfer my line to another person within the Device Contract period?

  1. Device contract is non-transferable. An Early Termination Fee will be charged.

• What happens if I fail to make payment for device contract plan, what will happen to my contract?

  1. If you fail to make payment for device contract plan, the monthly fee & contract will continue to run till contract ends. If you terminate the contract prior to contract ends, a penalty will be charged to your account.

• What will happen to my rebate if I suspend my line?

  1. Your rebate will be suspended and resume once your line is active again.

• What will happen to my rebate if I terminate my line (SIM only plan)?

  1. Your rebate will be prorated on your last month and will be discontinued when the line is inactive.

• I have registered SIM only plan and a few days later I added on device bundle to my line. Do I enjoy both rebates?

  1. No, you can only enjoy one rebate at any point of time. In this scenario since you have enjoyed rebate with SIM only plan, you will not enjoy the same rebate when you add a device bundle.
