Authorised Person-in-Charge (PIC) and Authorised Signatory Information for Business Account Registered with Maxis

  • An Authorised Person in Charge is an individual formally designated by the company to oversee and manage transactions on behalf of the company. This individual has the authority to make decisions related to service modification, purchase, activation and termination.

  • An Authorised Signatory is an individual granted legal authority to sign documents, contracts, agreements, or financial instruments on behalf of that company. Their signature binds the company to the document terms of includes authority for service-related decision such as modification, purchase, activation and termination. 

  • For Authorised Signatory:

    • Copy of Form 49 / Section 58 (Directors/Officers) or an equivalent company registration document.
    • Authorisation letter (if applicable), signed by the company's authorised representative.


    For Authorised PIC:

    • Authorisation letter (if applicable), signed by the company's authorised representative.
  • Maintaining current Authorised Signatory and Authorised PIC information is vital to prevent potential issues and ensure a smooth, effective relationship with Maxis. Failure to update this information can lead to significant disruptions, including:

    • Delays or disruptions in managing services: Your company may experience an inability to make critical changes such as upgrades, downgrades, or terminations, or be unable to sign new agreements.
    • Security risks: Outdated authorised personnel information could pose security risks if unauthorised individuals attempt to make changes or access sensitive information.
    • Missed important communications: Your company may not receive important notifications or updates regarding their services, as Maxis may send critical information to the outdated authorised personnel.
