Copper Migration Notice

At Maxis, we’re constantly working to improve your internet experience by upgrading Malaysia’s broadband infrastructure. As part of this transition, copper-based internet services will be fully phased out by 30 June 2026 to enable a faster, more reliable fibre network.

If your service is affected, we will notify you via phone, and email with details of your upgrade to Business AirFibre or Business Fibre.

To ensure your internet service continues without interruption, your existing copper-based service needs to be upgraded to fibre or AirFibre before 30 June 2026.

Enjoy these upgrade benefits at no extra cost:
- FREE standard installation fees and Customer Premise Equipment (CPE) upgrade, i.e., WiFi 6 router or equivalent.
- No early termination penalties: Your existing contract terms (if any) will remain unchanged.

- To help you enjoy uninterrupted service, we encourage you to upgrade as soon as possible, before 30 June 2026.
- Once copper services are phased out, restoring your current service may no longer be possible.
