Copper Migration Notice

  • At Maxis, we’re constantly working to improve your internet experience by upgrading Malaysia’s broadband infrastructure. As part of this transition, copper-based internet services will be fully phased out by 30 June 2026 to enable a faster, more reliable fibre network. 

  • If your service is affected, we will notify you via phone, and email with details of your upgrade to Business AirFibre or Business Fibre. 

  • To ensure your internet service continues without interruption, your existing copper-based service needs to be upgraded to fibre or AirFibre before 30 June 2026. 

  • Enjoy these upgrade benefits at no extra cost: 

    • FREE standard installation fees and Customer Premise Equipment (CPE) upgrade, i.e., WiFi 6 router or equivalent. 
    • No early termination penalties: Your existing contract terms (if any) will remain unchanged. 
    • To help you enjoy uninterrupted service, we encourage you to upgrade as soon as possible, before 30 June 2026. 
    • Once copper services are phased out, restoring your current service may no longer be possible.
