Maxis Usage Based Internet (MUBI) is the first quota-based Dedicated Internet service that allows you to pay as you use once you exceed the free quota.

The free quota provided is more than sufficient for average office or business use. Alternatively, you can upgrade anytime to the next higher plan and still enjoy monthly savings with a higher quota.

If you are not sure about your internet usage, Maxis Usage Based Internet (MUBI) is the solution because MUBI starts at RM999/month for 10Mbps, and if your usage increases, you can upgrade to a higher package at any time.

The free quota provided is more than enough for the average business. Even if you use more, you can still expect savings with our business-friendly pay-per-use rate. At the maximum, your Usage-Based Internet bill will be capped at the same price as that of the standard DIA. So, you can expect to pay no more than what you would for a standard DIA package.

You can monitor your usage on the Maxis customer portal, Maxis Business Hub. Additionally, you will receive a notification via email/SMS when your usage reaches 80% of the quota provided.

During the first 5 months of Maxis Usage Based Internet subscription, Maxis will not charge any additional usage fee. This will help you analyze your ideal bandwidth for your business. So, you may subscribe to a higher Usage Based Internet package, or even switch to a normal DIA, should the current plan be insufficient for your business.

Yes, if your existing contract has expired.

There will be no interruption or degradation to the service. There will be a charge of RM2.60 per additional GB, and this will be an additional charge on top of your agreed fixed monthly fee.

Yes, the minimum contract period for Usage-Based Internet packages is 24 months.

If you terminate the Agreement before the expiry of the Term, you will only have to pay Maxis the fixed monthly recurring charges for the rest of the remaining months.
