MUBI (Maxis Usage-Based Internet) is Malaysia’s only pay-per-use DIA service, where you pay based on actual data usage, pay a minimal fee within the free quota, and still enjoy dedicated, symmetrical internet with SLA and a monthly bill cap not exceeding standard DIA (Dedicated Internet Access) pricing.

If you are not sure about your internet usage, MUBI (Maxis Usage-Based Internet) is the solution because price starts at RM999/month for 10Mbps, and if your usage increases, you can upgrade to a higher package at any time.

There’s no need to worry about bill shock. MUBI (Maxis Usage-Based Internet) comes with a monthly bill cap, so your total charges will never exceed the price of a standard DIA (Dedicated Internet Access) plan. In addition, each plan includes a free data quota, meaning you only pay extra if you exceed it.

You can monitor your usage Maxis Business Hub. Additionally, you will receive a notification via email/SMS when your usage reaches 80% of the quota provided.

During the first 5 months of MUBI (Maxis Usage-Based Internet) subscription, Maxis will not charge any additional usage fee. This gives you time to assess your business ideal bandwidth. If needed, you may subscribe to a higher Usage-Based Internet package or even switch to a normal DIA (Dedicated Internet Access) plan if your current plan isn’t sufficient.

Yes, you can upgrade to a higher bandwidth package during the minimum service period, provided the required infrastructure is available at your site(s).

No, downgrades are not allowed during the minimum contract period. If you choose to downgrade the service(s) before the contract ends, a penalty will apply, calculated as the subscription fee multiplied by the remaining months of your contract.

Yes, if your existing contract has expired.

Your service will continue without interruption or degradation. There will be a charge of RM2.60 per additional GB, on top of your agreed fixed monthly fee.

Yes, the minimum contract period for MUBI (Maxis Usage-Based Internet) packages is 36 months.

If you terminate your service before the minimum service period ends, you are required to pay Maxis the monthly recurring charges for all remaining months of the minimum period.

No, you cannot suspend the MUBI (Maxis Usage-Based Internet) service during the minimum contract subscription period.

Yes, your service contract will be renewed.

Yes, Maxis technical team will visit your premises to collect the Maxis equipment and verify that it is in a good working condition. If the Maxis equipment damaged or loss, a penalty fee will apply.
