Service Specific Terms and Conditions - Maxis Business Individual Contest (“SSTC”)

    1. The Campaign:  Maxis Business Individual Contest
    2. You or Participant(s): Person(s) who participate(s) in this Campaign in accordance with this SSTC.
    3. Participating Hotlink Postpaid Plans: Hotlink Postpaid 60 & 70, which terms and conditions are at https://www.hotlink.com.my/en/terms-conditions/products/postpaid/sstc/ (“Hotlink Postpaid SSTC”). Participating Maxis Postpaid Plans: Maxis Postpaid 79, 109, 139, 169 & 199, which terms and condition are at https://www.maxis.com.my/en/terms-conditions/products-services/mobile/postpaid-plan/ (“Maxis Postpaid SSTC”).
      Participating Maxis Postpaid Plans: Maxis Postpaid 69 & 99, which terms and condition are at https://www.maxis.com.my/en/terms-conditions/products-services/mobile/postpaid-69-and-99/ (“Maxis Postpaid 69 & 99 SSTC”).
    4. Campaign Period: Effective from 1 Jun 2024 until 31 Aug 2024 (both dates inclusive).
    5. Reward(s): RM20 worth of Touch ‘n Go eWallet credit & Blueshark R1 Electric Scooter with 2x batteries, subject to terms and conditions herein.
    6. The Campaign and use of the Service(s) is subject to the General Terms & Conditions (“GTC”) at https://www.business.maxis.com.my/en/terms-conditions/campaigns/business-bi/, https://www.hotlink.com.my/en/terms-conditions/general/, https://www.maxis.com.my/en/terms-conditions/general/maxis-consumer/),  this Service Specific Terms & Conditions – Maxis Business Individual Contest Campaign (“SSTC”), Hotlink Postpaid SSTC, Maxis Postpaid SSTC, Summary Terms and Conditions (“STC”), Maxis Fair Usage Policy (“FUP”) at www.maxis.com.my/FUP and any other applicable terms and conditions, all available at https://www.hotlink.com.my/en/terms-conditions/hotlink/ & https://www.maxis.com.my/en/terms-conditions/.
    7. Capitalised terms herein have the same meaning as defined in the GTC.
    8. Any conflict or inconsistency between this SSTC, the Hotlink Postpaid SSTC, the Maxis Postpaid SSSTC, the GTC and STC, shall be construed in the following order of precedence: (a) this SSTC; (b) Hotlink Postpaid SSTC; (c) Maxis Postpaid SSTC; (d) GTC; and (e) STC.
    9. We reserve the rights without liability, to revise this SSTC, the GTC, Campaign and our pricing at our sole discretion. Where reasonably practicable, we will give you reasonable advance notice of such changes and all previous versions of our user guides or leaflets will be superseded. You accept that you are responsible for regularly reviewing information on the plan(s) and Service(s) at www.hotlink.com.my/en/terms-conditions/hotlink/ & https://www.maxis.com.my/en/terms-conditions/ including changes to the Agreement. Your continued use of the Service(s), and/or plan(s) (after the Effective Date of any revision/change to the terms and conditions of the Agreement, Services, and/or plan(s)) shall constitute unconditional acceptance by you of such revisions/changes and you shall be bound by the same. If you do not accept such revisions/changes, you will terminate the plan(s) and/or the use of the Services by giving us written notice within twenty (28) days from the Effective Date, failing which you are deemed to have accepted the changes.
    1. You must be a new or existing customer of Hotlink Postpaid or Maxis Postpaid who:
      1. is at least 18 years of age;
      2. ports-in to Hotlink Postpaid or Maxis Postpaid or signs up any of the participating Hotlink Postpaid or Maxis Postpaid plans under this Campaign.
    2. You are ineligible for the Campaign if you have any outstanding payments with us.
    3. The Campaign is inapplicable to you if you are a commercial user and/or bulk subscriber.
    4. Notwithstanding the above, your eligibility to participate in the Campaign and the giving out of the Touch ‘n Go eWallet credit & Blueshark R1 Electric Scooter (“Rewards”) are subject to our absolute discretion.
    1. You are responsible for payment of all Charges associated with the participating Hotlink Postpaid or Maxis Postpaid plans under this Campaign both during and after the Campaign Period. Charges exclude applicable taxes.
    1. To participate in this Campaign, you are required to sign up for any participating Hotlink Postpaid or Maxis Postpaid plans under this Campaign as described in Clause 3 above during the Campaign Period via Maxis Centre walk-ins or out-of-store activities / roadshows. Maxis Online Store & Telesales channels are not eligible to participate in this Campaign.
    2. By participating in this Campaign, you agree to be bound by the terms in Hotlink Postpaid & Maxis Postpaid SSTCs applicable to participating Hotlink Postpaid & Maxis Postpaid plans under the Business Individual Offers as provided in Clause 3 above.
    1. Subject to the fulfilment of the terms and conditions of this Campaign and successful registration of the participating Hotlink Postpaid & Maxis Postpaid plans, you will enjoy the Rewards in accordance with terms below:

    1. Rewards will be given to every 50th Participant (up to a maximum of 250 participants or up to the end of the Campaign Period, whichever comes 1st)  who have successfully signed up, activated any of the participating Hotlink Postpaid or Maxis Postpaid plans under the Business Individual Offers and Participant’s information and slogan are successfully submitted in the Campaign QR form during the Campaign Period via Maxis Centre walk-ins or out-of-store activities / roadshows in accordance with Clause 13 above.
    2. To enjoy the Rewards:
      1. You are required to install Touch ‘n Go app and register for Touch ‘n Go e-Wallet using his/her mobile phone number used to register and sign up for the Hotlink Postpaid or Maxis Postpaid Biz Individual Offer Plan(s) under this Campaign (“Registered Mobile Number”) in order to receive the Rewards.
      2. Maxis will cause the reward to be fulfilled or credited into the relevant Participants’ Touch ‘n Go e-Wallet account. Recipients of the reward will be able to verify Maxis’ fulfilment of the Reward by checking his/her e-Wallet balance and/or transaction history in his/her Touch ‘n Go account.
      3. In the event Maxis’ attempt to fulfil the reward is unsuccessful, Maxis will send a SMS to the Registered Mobile Number of the relevant Participant(s) notifying the same and re-attempt crediting the reward twice on a weekly basis.
      4. In the event all three (3) attempts made by Maxis to credit the Rewards (as described in sub-paragraph(iii) above) are unsuccessful, it shall constitute, and be deemed as, a waiver on the part of the relevant Participant(s) to receive the Rewards and the relevant Participant(s) shall relinquish all of his/her rights and entitlement in relation to the same. In this regard, Maxis shall be entitled to forfeit the Rewards and Maxis shall not be liable or responsible for any claims or whatsoever in relation to and/or arising from the Rewards.
    1x unit Blueshark R1 Electric Scooter with 2x Batteries
    1. Reward will be given to the winner with the best slogan (at Maxis’ sole discretion), selected from the group of Participants that have successfully submitted their information and slogan in the Campaign QR form.
    2. To enjoy the Reward:
      1. You are required to fill in a slogan - I chose Maxis as my preferred telco because (not more than 40 words): in the Campaign QR form (as described in paragraph a) under the Touch ‘n Go Reward Terms & Conditions above);
      2. To be selected by Maxis as the winner with the best slogan;
      3. Maxis will cause the reward to be fulfilled and presented to the winning Participant. Recipient of the reward will be contacted thru call by Maxis accordingly;
      4. In the event Maxis’ attempt to contact the Participant is unsuccessful, Maxis will re-attempt the call for another 2 times in the subsequent 7 working days from the 1st attempt; and
      5. In the event all three (3) attempts made by Maxis to reach the winning Participant is unsuccessful, it shall constitute, and be deemed as, a waiver on the part of the relevant Participant(s) to receive the Rewards and the relevant Participant shall relinquish all of his/her rights and entitlement in relation to the same. In this regard, Maxis shall be entitled to forfeit the Rewards and Maxis shall not be liable or responsible for any claims or whatsoever in relation to and/or arising from the Rewards.
    1. During the Campaign Period, you shall NOT:
      1. terminate or suspend the Participating Hotlink Postpaid or Maxis Postpaid under the Business Individual Offers which you have registered;
      2. fail to activate the Participating Hotlink Postpaid or Maxis Postpaid under the Business Individual Offers which you have registered; and
      3. change or transfer ownership of the registered Participating Participating Hotlink Postpaid or Maxis Postpaid under the Business Individual Offers to another person.
    2. If any of the events in Clause 18 above occur, you will no longer be entitled to the Rewards.
    1. Maxis reserves the right to forfeit the Rewards if our attempt to fulfil the Rewards fails for any reason whatsoever.
    2. Maxis’ decision on the selection of Participants who are eligible and entitled to the Rewards shall be final and conclusive and Maxis shall entertain no correspondence, complaint, or appeal at any time during or after the Campaign Period.
    3. Maxis shall not be liable to the Participants or any other party for any loss or damage of whatsoever nature suffered by a Participant or such other party as a result of participation or non-participation in the Campaign or as a result of any act or omission on Maxis’ part.
    4. The Rewards are not exchangeable for cash.
    5. Any Rewards unutilized and/or unredeemed are not encashable, returnable and/or refundable.
    6. Maxis is not an agent, subsidiary or affiliate of Touch‘nGo and blueshark, and make no representation or warranties as to the quality, merchantability, fitness of the Rewards and shall not be liable for any loss and damages suffered from the use of the Rewards.
    7. The terms and conditions stated herein shall be governed by the Laws of Malaysia and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
