Decommissioning of Caller Line Identification Restriction (CLIR)

  • CLIR is a Value-Added Service which allows you to hide the display of your mobile number to your call recipients.

  • Maxis is complying to the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission Numbering Plan and requirements to ensure that all calls and Short Message Service (SMS) deliveries display the actual number information.

  • Maxis will stop offering CLIR service on 30th of June 2023. Your standard monthly fee for CLIR will not be charged starting from your August bill.

  • You may continue to enjoy the CLIR service until 30th June 2023.

  • To comply with MCMC’s requirements, Maxis currently does not offer any similar services.

  • You may continue to enjoy the CLIR service with your current subscription until 30th June 2023.
