Domestic Toll-Free Services

  • We provide two services:

    • Domestic Freefone (1800 82 XXXX): Callers dial for free; your business covers the cost of Domestic Freefone service.
    • Localfone (1300 82 XXXX): Callers pay local call rates (charged by their service provider); your business is billed for subscribing to Localfone and for the incoming call charges.


    Note: The prefix 82 identifies Maxis as your service provider.

  • Domestic Customers International Customers with office in Malaysia
    Use Domestic Freefone or Localfone. Use International Inbound Toll-Free (ITFS) or Universal Inbound Freefone (UIFN).
  • Consider:

    • Dedicated vs. shared voice channels: Dedicated channels ensure consistent availability for large call volumes.
    • Staffing: Number of agents available to handle calls.
    • Operating hours: Days/hours your team will receive calls.
    • Domestic Freefone: Starts with 1 800 82.
    • Localfone: Starts with 1 300 82.
  • You must first have one of these primary Maxis voice services:

    • Business Voice Connect
    • Business Voice SIP
    • Managed Voice
    • Managed UC
  • Your service will be activated within 3 working days after submitting a complete Registration Form, provided your primary Maxis voice service is active.

  • Ideal for businesses that:
