  • Yes, you can. You'll need to let Maxis connect with your admin of Microsoft account during setup to provision the fixed-line calling features. You'll also need to get one extra Microsoft Office 365 E1 license from Maxis to link things up.

  • Yes, but there are two requirements:

    • Use a Maxis fixed line phone number: To make/receive calls via Teams, your business line must be a Maxis fixed-line number.
    • Have a Maxis Internet subscription.
  • Yes, but only Microsoft Teams certified IP phones are compatible.

  • Currently, fixed-line numbers are not portable between service providers in Malaysia. You cannot transfer fixed line numbers from other service provider to Managed UC (Microsoft Teams). However, you may choose a new fixed-line number with your state prefix (03, 05, etc.) to be included with your Managed UC (Microsoft Teams) solution.

  • Yes. Simply click on the record button during the call to start and stop the recording.

  • Yes, this will allow you to communicate seamlessly between devices when you are on the go.

  • Yes, you can. You will need:

    • Microsoft Teams hybrid deployment solution

  • Yes, you can. By default, the system will display your DID (direct inward dialling) number, which would enable the recipient to reach you directly.

  • Yes, it does but your company's IT policy on conferencing with external parties may affect it.

  • Yes, but you must use a receptionist console that is certified by Microsoft Teams.

  • Yes, you can. You need to purchase an extra license (Microsoft Audio Conference) to allow people call into a meeting using any phone number.

  • Yes, but only systems certified by Microsoft Teams may be integrated.

  • Integration with an existing analogue fax machine will require additional on-premise hardware to be deployed, which may not be cost-effective.

    You may want to consider getting a Business Voice Connect line that comes with an ATA to connect to your existing fax machine.
